7th Annual Texas Butt Bake
Welcome to the thread for the 7th Annual Texas Butt Bake - Back to the beach!! Ok, not the beach but there will be more water than me sitting in a storage tote like last year. With construction finished on the road in, we will be back at Neiderhoffer, where we belong.
Once again, we will be shuttling people in from Trailhead #8 due to traffic concerns at the lake. Campers can either slack pack in the 4.2 mile hike or get a ride from one of the "staff".
We will also be doing a food plan again. $7.50 per person/per meal will get you Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast and dinner, and Saturday breakfast and dinner. Some may notice that I just said Saturday Dinner instead of a Potluck, well that's because our Culinary Crew has decided we are doing Fajitas Saturday night to make things easier and limit the need for everyone to bring in a ton of coolers. Once again soft drink and bottled water will be provided so all you need to bring is your hammock gear and a chair.
There is a Facebook event HERE for people on the Texas hammock hangers FB page and the SPREADSHEET IS HERE
Post any questions you have and we will try to answer them.

Re: 7th Annual Texas Butt Bake
I have a quick question, is the breakfast included in the $7.50 Friday and Saturday or are they seperate also?

Re: 7th Annual Texas Butt Bake
Certain peoples in my family cannot fathom why I look forward to this event every year...but I'm the one going, not them
I did miss my mountain trip this year, but I will schedule time off in October to do that trip in style.
Can't wait for the food, fun and fellowship in the refreshing, humid, July Southeast Texas climate. The weather report does look interesting:

Texas will again lift it's head and stand among the nations. It ought to do so, for no country upon the globe can compare with it in natural advantages.
