I haven't died
just been busy. I am retiring to be a stay at home Grandfather and doing a thru-hike of the LSHT next month also. After I come back , look for more activity and some give-aways.

Good to know!

Re: I haven't died
I am a retired stay at home grandpa while my daughter goes to school and work. But that is coming to a close as her school is winding down and she will be graduating. Boy what time I will have on my hands then. Hope your trip goes good, been planning that for awhile and only live 20 mins away from the starting gate.
Today is the first day of the rest of your life.

Texas will again lift it's head and stand among the nations. It ought to do so, for no country upon the globe can compare with it in natural advantages.

Re: I haven't died
We threw in the towel on day 2. Forecast changed from one day of rain to almost everyday. The cold and wet sucked any morale out that we had left after getting a late start and doing 3 hours of night hiking the first night. Tom pushed a little too hard given his recent heart surgery and Tracey was only staying until Monday anyway. Andy hurt his knee the first night setting up camp and since he had already thru hiked it wasn't driven to push through with a lame knee. I didn't want to finish alone so we all decided to call it.

Re: I haven't died
With forecast this winter I have been staying near to home, though shopping and planning, Scuba praying for your swift completion of the trail and an enjoyable trip to boot or boots

Any day in the outdoors is better than a day at work.
