Re: Sarge's Forums
Thanks for reading that old blog, Shelley, and for the kind words.
I should also thank Tom, who's idea The Bunker was. When I registered and went to the index page, there it was. I tweaked a bit and there's another tweak I thought of last night, but other than that it was all Tom's doing.
I am humbled by and thankful for the support I've gotten here lately. I'm just a fat old man with opinions, some very strong feelings about people's rights, and I don't like bullies one bit.
But more than that, I'm dedicated to the principal that God put us here to do good things for other people, and one of the best things you can do for another person is to help them get out into the woods. If I provide an inspiration for only one thing in my life, I pray that sentiment is the one.
Thanks again and thanks to everybody else who has shown me some support.
Lets all work together to make this a place where everybody respects everybody else, regardless of thier political or religious beliefs (or lack of them), or their military affiliation or views on the military, and does it without asking for anything else other than the pleasure of each other's company.

You can't go wrong with that mish mash of East Texas and Yankee accent. I always read his posts in his voice. Of course, he is much more entertaining in person or on video!

Texas will again lift it's head and stand among the nations. It ought to do so, for no country upon the globe can compare with it in natural advantages.
