Sorry, I meant to add more to the post but first time using the app to post on any forum. Self tensioning tarp tie outs, I like the way these look compared to just a loop of shock cord with a knot in it.

For silNylon, these are great. If you are using silPoly, you don't need the tensioners since the poly doesn't stretch like the nylon.

I have a Hennesy Hex tarp and I find it to be a bit droopy by the morning, this could be due to using walmart 550 cord as my ridgeline (being upgraded very soon) and it being a rather heavy tarp. Im also going to be making a tarp from the clear plastic painters drop sheets and duct tape seams/edges, and with it being so fragile I figured this would work well to keep it taught without ripping a corner. And I like the clean look of this style diy tensioner.

Thera-bands, just a workout band. I haven't gone out to find any yet but I'm assuming walmart should have them.
