DIY - Ripstop by the roll Winter SilPoly Tarp

I recently finished up my Winter Tarp made from SilPoly. It turned out to be a great lightweight alternative to the pricier cuben fiber tarp. The "doors" are great for breaking the wind from flowing through the tarp and has protected me from some heavy down pours this spring. I used 10 yards of Membrane SilPoly PU4000 and the RipStopByTheRoll Winter Tarp Kit. It turned out great!

1 x Gutermann MARA 50 thread - Gray @ $4.00 each
10 x MEMBRANE silpoly PU4000 - Charcoal Gray @ $7.50 each
1 x Winter12 Tarp Kit @ $6.30 each
1 x Gutermann MARA 70 thread - Dark Olive @ $0.00 each

Current weight with 6 guy lines is 22oz.

It was not a bad build, no cat cuts added. It was a lot of fabric to move around but worked out great. I'm in the process of adding 2 tie outs to each side and going to add some shock cord to the door tie outs for easier setup.

With doors propped open.
