Cheap tarp

Post by Flatliner » Wed Sep 07, 2016 12:48 pm

This appears to be one heck of a deal. Thought I would share.

I can't share it at the other site or someone might get scared by the big bad gun pictures...

Still a pretty good tarp in a pinch.

It would be but it isn't the killer deal I thought it was.

UGQ is selling Hangar 12's on mass drop for $99 on a fairly regular basis. Hard to beat that!

At 12x16 you could cut it in half make two roughly 8x12 tarps. Depending on cost of shipping you and a buddy could split The cost and be around $15-20 for a tarp. Minimal work required. Just hem one side and add pull outs.

Or make yourself two tarps for Fairweather or monsoon depending on the trip.

Looking closer at the ad, it's a bit deceptive. This is basically a blue tarp in camo.

good catch. I figured it was better fabric since they called it "rip stop" in the description.
