Attached is picture of my present camping vehicle, which has been all over the oilfields of Texas when it was my field office.

Can take up to another 2500 lbs payload and just keeps on trucking....

And NO, the hammocks are for outside sleeping.

Sure isn't.
That's why I laugh quietly when people talk about 4 lb backpacks, or worry about how many more ounces their particular underquilt is.
It is all what one is used to or uses.
When someone asked recently what hiking cookware people used, wanted to show a real big set of cast iron skillets and pots, along with a steel tripod to hold a pot over the fire. lol

That's great. My closest camping buddy is manbehindtheplan and he is mostly a car camper. He has an awesome but backbreaking camp kitchen...
