Bought some of this stuff for my bugout bag. Took a piece about 2' long and stripped it to see the contents. To me seems like a pretty neat idea and good thing to carry in the bag.

Due to the wire inside it is difficult to weave, but I'm just keeping it hanked in my bag. Honestly if you've ever taken apart a Paracord bracelet to use it you know it's a pain. For all practicality to me, it is better just to have a hank of it in your bag.
