Searching for a JMT hiking partner

I'm currently trying to find a hiking partner to thru hike the John Muir Trail with me this summer. Two of the biggest costs of the trip are gas and food drops, so having a partner reduces the cost of the trip significantly.

I'm looking at a late July or (preferably) early August departure and spending about 2 weeks on the trail.

This calls for 15 mile days with significant elevation change, so being in decent trail shape is obviously going to be a requirement. Also, living near Houston or somewhere that one of us is on the way to the other to California is pretty important in order to actually save on gas money.

If you or someone you know would be interested, let me know as soon as possible. Thanks!
