Volunteers: An event of this size does not happen without the efforts of many, many great folks. If you would like to help during Fall Sprawl, please contact Dawn Callahan.

T-Shirts: We will offer PSH shirts again. Be on the lookout for how you can order your shirts.

PSH items: We will have some PSH items for sale including decals, patches and car tags.

This year is shaping up to be the best year yet for this event! Last year we hosted *110 hangers* in the primitive area of Santee State Park! This is one of the largest hangs held in the country! Of course, there will once again be a gear RAFFLE (because of course there would be) with fabulous prizes from Palmetto State Hangers' vendor sponsors as well as other event-specific sponsors that have generously agreed to donate goods and services for this event. Individuals are encouraged to donate items to the raffle, as well.

Funds from this year's raffle will be donated to programs across our state that promote camping and the great outdoors.
Last year we raised $2545 for the state park system. That donations was made to the Palmetto Campout program hosted at two state parks which brings in families for a weekend of learning camping and outdoors skills. Most of these families have never camped before and by the end of the weekend, they have learned skills such as pitching a tent, building a campfire and outdoor cooking, as well as, participated in activities such as canoeing, geocaching, hiking, campfire stories, outdoor games and hammock demos.

Meals:
Coffee will be provided each morning. Those wishing to make dishes to share at any mealtimes, are welcome to do so. Meals will be on your own for Thursday and for breakfast & lunch on Friday & Saturday.
**PSH will provide a BBQ meal on Friday night and we will share a Potluck meal on Saturday night. **

There will once again be a Gearage Sale going on similar to last year, so keep that in mind if you've got more gear on hand than you can use and want to try to get a few bucks. This was a great success last year, so start going through your gear closets now!

DEMOS:
We will have several demo classes going on through out the hang. If you have a particular skill you are willing to share or have ideas for additional demos, please contact Dawn Callahan.

Tentative Demos:
Kids' Klinic (for kids of all ages)
Ghost Stories and Other Lies with Tally "Pudden" Johnson
Amsteel Splicing
Dehydrated/Freeze Dried Meal Taste Testing (bring your favorite meal to share)
Compass Navigation and Orientation
Show us your Sharps (bring your sharps to show off)
All About Sharps
Dutch Oven Cooking
Basics in Bushcrafting
Make your own Alcohol Stove

Please spread the word about Fall Sprawl! This is a great event to introduce your friends and family to hammock camping!

John Gresham "Gresh" - President
Kevin Welsh "MBcruzin" - Vice President
Dawn Callahan "Junebugdawn" - Treasurer

Interested. Might have to plan a road trip.

I have a feeling this hang may not happen this year. Evacuation tomorrow and no telling what damage. I hope for the best for everybody in the low country.

BB, the forecast currently limits it's impact on the SC coast. If the forecasters are right (and when have they ever been wrong) it looks doable.
