Wasps are A'holes!

I just got popped by two yellow jackets with more after me. I hightailed it and jumped in the pool. So yes wasps are A'holes! That is all.

Just used the "squirt real far instant wasp death" on the back patio. That stuff does the deed.

Yeah sarge I was going to do that very thing. Till I figured out that I may have broken my toe. I must have done that in my flat out sprint to the pool while wearing flip flops. I can't put any weight on it and it's swollen to about half the size of my big toe. Oh the excitement that is my life.

So----

All we get out of this is the old "I broke my toe running away from wasps." story?

Dude.

Make 'em NINJA wasps at least------------

We had yellow jackets take up behind my garage/shop, in some RR tie retaining wall. I sort of knew they were there, day dreaming and running the weed-trimmer.....YEAOOOOOWWWWWW!!!!! baking soda and meat tenderizer to take away the stings. Then went out and emptied 80 percent of a can of yellow jacket killer into that slot between the RR ties......hit it again later when some of the strays were still flying around.......

I just spray a little diesel fuel on them and the nest - they die instantly and never come back. When I get swarmed I scream like a little girl and run really fast (not that it matters - they still catch me) - I hate wasps and bees (love honey bees!).

I buy that stuff by the case, for my vacation house in Memphis. Texas, that is. Being unoccupied, they make quick use of every space. I killed at least 5 dinner plate sized nests last weekend.

I prefer bees.
Texas will again lift it's head and stand among the nations. It ought to do so, for no country upon the globe can compare with it in natural advantages.

Once found a nest of those bastards in the ground. I didn't think they lived in the ground but sure as hell I got a big ass cloud of them up and around me. I must have ridden my bike right over them...

I bailed off the bike and some nice neighbor was kind enough to put on many layers of clothes to help get my bike back
