My wife and I had took a honeymoon trip to Cheaha State Park. We hiked all the short trails inside the park and did the Chinnabee Silent Trail.

My wife and I lived in Anniston, AL for 8 years and would regularly go up to Cheaha Mountain (especially during the hot summers) to cool off. It was always 15 to 20 degrees cooler on top of the mountain than down in Anniston. Thank you for posting the pictures and allowing us to still down Memory Lane.

Dang purty country and a waterfall to boot.

Nice.

Love the B & W pic---gives depth where it needs to be.

Thanks guys. The Chinnabee has a couple of nice falls. One has a great camping area beside it. We have some pics of it, but I didn't have them on my phone. That's outside of Cheaha State Park, in the Talladega NF
