Actually it is about the same weight as my other setup. Though there is a big difference between double layer 1.6 HyperD and double layer taffeta.

I have to say this is the most comfortable hammock I have slept in. I stole if from Brian the last two nights.

Hopefully we have a chance to test it out this weekend. The stand does not let me hang the hammock at the way I think I need to. An extension pole for bridge hammocks was ordered, but if we can get out trees will suffice.

Your lucky----------- I have to stay at home again. I haven't been out but once this summer. Cant wait for winter though - - thats my play time.

If you can swing a trip to Texas, you should try to come down for the Fairfield Hang. Had about 120 last year and it is growing still. Last year Derek Hansen and Paul from UGQ showed up and we had a blast.
