ID Tags for hiking

I can't recommend enough that if you are out in the wilderness you have some sort of ID on you. Your wallet is a start, but i like something that is less likely to be lost or stolen.

You can make a cheapo laminated one by writing on a small card and laminating it

RoadID make some great products (i really like their ShoeID)

IDtagsonline is where i went to have a medical dogtag and wrist band made for myself.

I have a RoadID and wear it all the time else I forget to put it on. My wife found the product. As she says "No ID on the body, no check for me". Makes sense.

I have a roadID as well. I cycle quite a bit as well as hike so it works all around. I wear it all the time too.

Your wife is a woman of wisdom. When asked about my RoadID, I explained to the person asking that it was my toe tag.
