RBTR Underquilt kit

#1

Post by Scuba » Sat May 14, 2016 10:48 pm

Just bought a kit for a 50degree synthetic UQ. It is Purple outer with a hot pink inner that I am building for one of my daughters. I will try to take some pics as I put it together, and when completed. One change I am making is to the suspension, I am making it with a primary and secondary. I paid about $70 for the kit and have high hopes for it.

Scuba, I made the same quilt with that kit. Works great. Instead of a secondary suspension, mine has prusicks attached to the primary suspension and then tied to the corner loops. Works great. Keeps the quilt from moving on the suspension. I have the Hennessy and use the tie outs. The prusicks allow me to position it in an asym fashion and keep the quilt where it needs to be. JRB has this design. Check out their vid on YouTube. Looking forward to the pics.
