Fallen Leaves Deep Forest Raven

#1

Post by PapaSmurf » Tue Feb 21, 2017 10:33 pm

Had the chance to shoot a few photos of a Raven in one of the newer printed fabrics.
The is the Fallen Leaves Deep Forest pattern in 1.6oz HyperD.
Very nice pattern and I look forward to using it more often.

questions....is that the "gear sling"?? Reading about it, sounds like it could be a stuff sack for the hammock, then double duty as a "place to toss stuff" while in the hammock?
I think I also read about "Peak storage" or something on your hammocks? What are those?

Yes, that's the gear sling shown on the ridgeline and hanging vertically on the suspension. This product was recently added with the helpful advice and ideas from Scuba, Flynguy, Zort, Sarge & possibly others.
Here are a few more photos of the gear sling. http://www.dream-hammock.com/shop.html# ... ry=4019214

We've got the peak shelf we can add to the peak ends for storage. Here's the page on those. http://www.dream-hammock.com/shop.html# ... croll=true

The first pic looks like you are floating mid air as the pattern matches the leaves so well. Nice looking hammock sir.

Thanks.
We finished up one today that turned out pretty darn good. Don't want to spam folks, but here's a couple photos if you'd like to see it.

Is that a Raven or a Sparrow?

These look great! That Sparrow has me drooling. I love the extended overcover venting, pattern, colors...everything about it.
Great work Papa!

For anyone else interested in all the details, and some great additional pics....

I like the versatility of the Raven, and the colors are cool. Speaking of short sleeve weather,...I work construction and Tuesday my boss gave me a safety winter coat. Very nice of him but it was 89 degrees...
