ButtBake Meal Plan Option and sign up

#1

Post by Scuba » Fri May 13, 2016 10:07 am

This year with the great Dutch Oven crew we have, we are offering a meal plan for 4 meals. The meals are Thursday PM, Friday AM and PM, and Saturday AM. Meal price includes bottled water and/or soda.

Price -- $7.50 per meal, per person or $30 per person for the whole weekend. You can select some meals or all meals, choice is yours.
How to pay - You can pay in advance or at the Lake, but sign ups will close sometime prior to the hang due to purchasing/planning needs.
What will the meals be? - We dont know yet but will release an official menu as we get closer. Regardless, the food WILL be good.

I'm in and this thinking about food has me salivating. That and I really need to get outside.

Part of the reason this is being done is to make it easier for people. This way you don't have to lug in as much food and get to enjoy the great cooking of our staff.

From the looks of that food line up, this looks to be a bargain and not the weekend to plan on loosing any weight.

It's been my experience that anything coming out of yours or Cheryl's dutch/camp kitchens aren't weight loss options. The food is just too good :D

Thanks Tyler!

Your Friday AM entry is "reheated/cold".

Did you want delivery to your hammock at a later hour since all the snoring kept you up all night or are you planning to arrive Friday AM after breakfast?

If the former, ,
if the latter as we get closer, give us an approx ETA.

My plan is to arrive after breakfast. Since my house is an hour in the wrong direction from the trail I'm heading down right after work which puts me at parking lot 8 at ~3:30am, or that nice Navaro County rest stop @ 2am if I'm too sleepy. After some sleep I'll hike in, throw breakfast in some foil on the fire coals if there are any or just eat it cold. Then I'll catch the next shuttle back to the cars for the cooler/shirts/firewood. I'm not asking for extra work on anyone's part, just saying "leave some for me, please!" I expect I'll be at the lake about 11:30.

Got ya covered buddy. :D

Heck I'd have delivered to your hammock, (or at least sprinkled some biscuit crumbs around underneath.)

It's not delivery, it's Dutch oven.

I can't find the place on the spreadsheet to have sarge leave a mint on my pillow each evening.
