Resurrecting this one because I'm still readyvto go on the 25th it doesn't have to hidden lake matter of fact after watching sarge's vids i believe I'd prefer neiderhoffer so anyone interested let me know

Alright looks like I'm on my own can anyone tell me about mile 16.5 out of trail head #6 is that a nice area I've only seen it on through hike vids it looked pretty nice on there

That's the place we call "Hurricane Cove" . Its a nice "unofficial" campsite that's a bit over used and cvan be crowded at tines. But great views and pleasant. Easy access from Parking Lot #6 makes it very popular.

Not bad, but expect to see people. The great thing about a hammock is that you're not limited to the kinds of camping spaces others might need. You just might not get the best view.

No i was going this weekend but ended up in the hospital tues dehydrated and sick got out yesterday but recouping man its sucks getting older stuff that wouldn't phase me before can try to take me down now but not yet...lol
