Hello everyone. I've been catching up on Sargevining's diy videos. I really like how not intimidated you are about DIY projects. Makes me think I could actually get some done myself!

I'm fairly new to hammocking, prob a year now but really enjoy it. I'm currently working on hammock setups for my kids so when spring rolls around we can enjoy hammocks together! I'll post those as I get them done. (Guess I have to start working on them now!)

If I can do it, anybody can.

I was intimidated by tarps for a long time. I'm still a bit askeered of 'em----

Welcome from Charlotte, NC. Sarges videos are great, we're lucky he puts them out there. Good luck on the DIY. I made all my family's gear (Wife, 2 kids, and me) and it's worked out great. Like Sarge encourages, just jump right in. Good luck.

I won't have to worry about the wife's gear, she's not a big camper. I have 4 kids though so it'll be a bit of a chore and will probably not do deep winter camping with them yet. I took my 13 year old boy and he woke up with cold toes at 2am. ended up throwing everything back into the wheel barrow after building a fire and rolled it the mile out to the car in the middle of the night. Wasn't a "successful" campout but we both look back and laugh about it. That's successful to me!
