Dynema zippered pouch kit at RSBTR

Ripstop by the Roll has a new dynema (aka cuben fiber) zippered pouch diy kit available. Neat little deal for a lightweight waterproof pouch. It comes in three different sizes and is a very reasonable price. Definatly something to check out, I know I'm adding it to my wish list.

It is a good little kit. I hope a lot of people will find enjoyment out of the smaller project. Plus, I got to keep a prototype :)

I still need to make me a few of these.

I've made two of them so far. (Small & large)
Messed up the smaller one but it's still usable and I'm using it as a wallet, and the larger one is... meh (I'm not great at sewing)
I ordered another small version and a medium version. They will be here tomorrow.

The first one I sewed the zippers wrong and my thread tension was messed up. I finally got it fixed. It looks like a dog turd but it works.

The larger version I was able to get the zipper somewhat correct, but it's a little uneven. The shirt I had stuffed in there made it look worse than it was.
I'm also new to sewing and I don't really care to follow directions. I just kinda trial and error everything. :D

All in all it was a fun project.

UPDATE

Second try
Added a grosgrain pull tab for easy pocket retrieval

I use the first one I made when designing this kit as a change purse for quarters in my car.

I ordered one of these kits yesterday, along with a bunch of fabric.

Thank you! I've made a few more since then. Some of them out of various material I had hanging around.
