My first DIY hammock

Wanted to share my first 100% DIY hammock project. Never really sewed before. I did the Netless kit from MakeYourGear:
Hexon 1.6XL, whoopies, knotty mod (both foot sides.
I was inspired by Tac Blades to use the (improved) soft shack loops onto which the whoopies larks headed.
Added little tie outs (4) which I like since it's so wide.
Really happy with it.
Still Need to do the ridge line but I just wanted to get outside and hang instead of inside splicing.

Next up... UQ (prob a CDT mod), and to figure out what to do for a tarp

very nice. I am still using my DIY tablecloth hammock I started with. I made a second from lighter fabric but gave it to my daughter because my TCH was still more comfortable for me. and my UQ is a jungle blanket CDT combo. Simple but effective

I love it. How much do you spend on material to make this hammock?
