Hi all, I'm new here and want say hello.
I do have a question also, I'm in the market for an underquilt. I've done some resurch and have decided I want full length down. I've looked at jacks r better, hammock gear and underground quilts. I hang in a HH explorer and love it. My question is, does anyone know of any other brands or makers I could look at?

Hello, and welcome to the forum. I have a personal preference for my UGQ quilts, and don't have a ton of experience with many of the others. I am sure some advice will be rolling down the pipes soon though.

UGQ does some high quality work. I'm hearing some good things about Loco Libre as well. Both are in the Vendor Forums here.

Howdy and welcome!

In our family we have Jacks r Better quilts that have served us well for years.

My wife has a Hammock Gear UQ that she's had for a few years and she loves it. She loves her new UGQ top quilt even more.

My son has a Warbonnet Lynx for his Ridgerunner and uses a Hammock Gear top quilt.

Bottom line is each of those folks make quality gear and it's really up to personal preference.

My most recent purchase was from UGQ and that's where our next purchase will be made too.

Welcome!

I have a DIY down quilt so not much experience w the professional gear, except to say you are looking in the right places. Everyone raves about UGQ, and after meeting Paul at the last hang, I would definitely do business w him.

Only other suggestion may be the Potomac from Arrowhead. http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/stor ... Quilt.html
It's a synthetic quilt, but it's cheap and specifically made for the hammock you have.

My dealings with Paul at Arrowhead Equipment and Paul at UGQ have been nothing short of phenomenal! Quick responses to emails and even phone calls.

I have UGQ and would not trade them for the world and just ordered a Renegade after seeing one in person!

Either way go with what you feel like. There really is no wrong answer, just different opinions!

I have a Hammockgear 0* underquilt and top quilt. also, have a warbonnet 3-season yeti that I also like during spring and early fall.

both of those companies have served me very well!

you can't go wrong with any of the above suggested companies.
