30 Degree Underquilt Giveaway

Welcome new Hammock Hangers members. We hope you wander around the site here, and maybe stick around for a while.

Please take a moment to visit the "Howdy" thread to introduce yourself. We want to know who you are.

If you want to know more about us and why we're here, read our promise to members.

What you'll find here are posts, and places to post, threads on all hammock camping related subjects---and that includes stoves, backpacks, trail food recipies, and everything else you might want to use or know about when you take your hammock into the woods.
That includes the evil boom sticks that other sites seem to be afraid of.

What you won't find is political correctness, heavy handed moderation, and jack wagons using their 10,000 posts to tell noobs how stupid they are, how that entry level hammock you just bought is crap, and how every new idea just won't work.

No fanboys. No fees. No donations.

If you can talk about it around a campfire, you can talk about it here.

We hope you'll take the time to comment in some, and add a few threads to the conversations.

If this looks like a site you might like, tell your friends about it.

Welcome to the campfire!

I love your videos. The details you give are just what I need to give me the confidence to try my own DIY. Most folks seem to assume that people have a clue as to what they're doing. You, wisely, make no such assumptions.
Plus, I'd love a free under quilt.
Thanks and look forward to watching more of you on YouTube.

Thanks for watching! Making these videos actually help me think about what I'm doing and how to get that out of my head and into the heads of other folks. What that does for me is it keeps me from going too fast and skipping steps. Sometimes I'm doing something I've never done before and I need to talk myself through it---with you listening over my shoulder. I'm glad you're finding them giving you confidence, as these really are intended to be confidence builders.

I would love to get my hands on this under quilt. I would be able to help out my friends who don't understand hammock camping and think sleeping on the hard rocky ground is the way to go. Thanks sarge for the opportunity.

Figured the best way for me to get out in the woods is to make it so my kids can too. Just finished 4 "Costco" underquilts and 3 topquilts today (they were actually Macy's throws that had been on clearance earlier this year). Good down to 50°, but will need something to get me down cooler when I go out with my buddy this winter.

Thanks for inspiring me to DIY'ing myself back outdoors!

Edwin

Please enter me in the running sir.
Funny I was on the forum here earlier then bounced over to YouTube to kill some time at work. Then BOOM a notice that you had posted a new video. Thanks for the opportunity Sarge.

Hi Sarge, I've really enjoyed your videos. If you keep on, I may have to dust this sewing machine off and learn to use/ abuse it. Do you have a video on how to tie a tourniquet?

A 30 degree quilt would be great for my wife that I am trying to get into hammocking. Good luck to all who enter, and welcome to the forums!

Definitely could us this got a AT hike of Georgia section in Oct. And no Costco membership so would be very useful as I am afraid I am going to freeze.

Great work, I could put this to good use in Nebraska this fall.
