Re: Any one here have a clew?

Check this out: https://jellyfishreport.blogspot.com/2016/12/detaled-sewing-instructions-for-box.html She has good instructions for making the clew underquilt suspension, elaborating more from this page: http://www.leiavoia.net/pages/hammock/levquilt.html I'll be giving this a try, at least with a c...

Re: Snugpak Jungle Blanket $24.50

I picked 4 of these up from Christmas gifts, one for me, and 3 for the kids. We have used them around the house as lounge blankets, and at grandma's house for spending the night. I have to agree that this vastly superior to the poncho liner, mainly for me because of the length being longer. I want a...

Re: Holster Ridgeline Organizer - The project that turned me off to the 'other' site...

I like your plans and the idea. I wonder if using a heavier weight material, such as Cordura, could help with keeping the holster section stiffer? I have used your "outline method" to tighten up the fit of one of those cheaper holsters for my firearm. Take it easy, glad to have you on hammockhangers...

I second Uncle Mike; I listened to this one on the way to Fairfield. I did not realize the Yukons are now made in the USA. Thanks for doing great shows, guys.

Snaps for Sarge's Snap Spectacular

(Insert finger snapping meme here)

Edit: Not long enough. Come by section 8, I mean space 8, and you might see me all tangled up in a Tiggs Craftworkz Tensile pole rig.

Re: Structural Ridgeline

Yeah, I was going to recommend Papa Smurf's video:-) I tend to reach up and strum my ridgeline and see what sort of bass fiddle noises I can make out of it. I have an adjustable ridgeline in my main camping hammock out of zing it. I need to make it permanent though, because it can slip a bit if I'm ...

Re: First DIY UQ Jungle Blanket - hand sewn

Good project!

If you're going to the Fairfield Hang, let me know, I have a pretty large roll of heavier shock cord I can give you what you need. Got to keep that DIY cost down :-)

Re: Who else needs it?

I'll add another verse, that I have engraved inside my wedding band: I Peter 3:7 "Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered." I imagin...

Re: Who else needs it?

Bluegill, There are no easy answers to your tough problems. Believe me, I've been there, with the arguing and ultimatum delivering. You certainly have to watch out when you get to that point, but if you do, there is always a returning point. I tend to conflict with my wife over my different "hobbies...

Re: 8th Annual Texas Fall Group Hang

I'm willing to share also; depending on where I end up. BTW, is there going to be a site assignment map? I plan to model a bipod chain link fence stand and a No Ground Hiking Pole Stand http://www.tiggzcraftworkz.com/NGpoles.html if it comes in on time. Also, depending on how easy these are to set u...

When we do that acronym page, we're gonna put "gmcpcs" on the list------
OK, that made coffee snort out of my mouth, and not very good, as I'm sneaking laptop time at a conference right now...:) :)

That is a discussion for the campfire, but it is Navy and name related.

Re: AHH.....I STRONGLY DISLIKE THAT

The topic might be straying a bit, but that rarely bothers me. I have o say that, though I tend to a bit of gear whoredom (is that a word? ) myself, I am not a down snob, even though I have plenty of it. In fact, so far this year anyway, my hankering seems to have gone back towards my beginnings, w...
