I remember a metal frame with what looked like bed springs covered with a cushion and hung with chain from eyebolts on my grandmother's front porch. It was not a couch but I seem to remember the head could be raised. like a chaise lounge.
That has been a long time ago.

Sarge and all With no word since Monday, I'm hoping you are safe but without time or infrastructure to post on line. My thoughts go out to all who endured the worst hurricane I've ever seen. I sent a few dollars which will maybe buy a few meals or pay for a few hours of workers. I urge everybody not...

Three dollar shipping is ridiculous. The cheapest flat rate shipping is $6.50 or more., I've never bought from you but will remember the great deal you offer.

A late reply. I belong to several forums with subjects other than hammocks or even camping so I want to relate my experience. Once I owned a weekly newspaper and belonged to a small town journalist web group. It was an email forum and I got a few posting everyday. For the most part it was people lik...
I got one this winter. My price was better than yours-my credit card points paid for it. It is short.I had a Joey chair which is claimed to be two inches taller-it was taller, until the frame broke. The replacement frame worked but the cover tore all of this with only about five or six uses. Lets ho...

Here in south Georgia we have been around freezing a couple of nights which is about right. Our place in Tennessee was warm in January when we were there, but it had been around 10 or 11 the week before. It snowed after we left. When the electric bill comes, I don't mind the mild winter. Right now, ...

How high can a 'gator jump? I've seen them jump about a body length across a canal to nail a deer, but it was only horizontal. I've left dead animals for them to eat, but was warned never to leave anything the same place twice. I do remember a big one, probably over 12 feet heading across a pond whe...
A little late to this but I bought a Joey ChaIr-about $40.00. It worked for four uses and then a connector broke. They shipped me a new one, then one or two uses later a corner of the cover tore. I reversed it and used it until another one broke. I got maybe less than ten uses out of the chair and I...

Another noob question. Is it safe to hang from palm trees? I spent the weekend playing Grandpa in Florida at a hammock site in a state park. The only possible place to hang was to at least one palm. Matthew did a lot of damage, but I didn't see evidence of an entire missing tree. Last question I got...

I know a lot about marriage having done it wrong before. My first and I found out we shared a common trait. We both preferred women. She may still be in a gay marriage but she did not let go after she got her divorce. In all honesty it had been years of unhappiness which had no resolution. I am no s...
