This New York Times editorial has some good commentary. The fourth actor is the media. T...

Re: Have we become too sensitive?

Not only do Liberals tend to lie about what someone said and then kick the stuffing out of the strawman afterwards, they'll also claim that other people ignore science and that they never do, and then they'll ignore it all day long when it interferes with their narrative. So you did not explicitly ...

Re: Have we become too sensitive?

Of course, before we explain what James Damore was right about, it’s important to note the things liberals FALSELY claim he said. He didn’t say women should be paid less than men. He didn’t argue that there should be no diversity. He didn’t argue that women are biologically inferior. He didn’t, as ...

Re: REI presentation on elevated camping

Pulling your hammock tight is bad for the tree, and bad for you if the stress of 574% of your weight is more than your straps or hammock can handle. The mention that this is a static load calculations and all sorts of worse things start happening when you introduce movement into the equation. Not t...

Re: The Time Has Come To Answer These Questions

What's the contingency if Neiderhoffer is closed? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk The traditional Butt Bake was Friday night camping at Parking Lot #8 and a Saturday hike and camp to Hidden Lake (about 2 miles). So we could do that. Or we could just stay at Parking Lot #8. Or we could hike the LST...

Re: Blak Leef hammock. Thoughts?

Hammock Buyer Rule #1: Never, ever buy a hammock from a vendor who doesn't tell you how long it is. Ever.

Not only does the dangting weigh dang near 5 pounds, the size of that carry bag is humongous when compared to other hammocks ar half the price (and less).

Just a reminder that once something is posted on the other forum you lose the rights to it and they own it. I can post links to sign up sheets and links for directions since that is shared with anyone who has the link, but cannot copy other details word for word. What? I've never heard of any of th...
