Re: Choose between these two thread injectors

The Singer is the one I'd go for, unless your mission is to sink the Bismark, then go for the Remington. The folding table is nice, and the stitch variety has a few that you will use, like bar tacks and zig zag. Take it to a competent sewing machine repair shop and have it looked over/tuned up and ...

Choose between these two thread injectors

I know I've been gone for awhile but, but it's camping season and I am finally settled from the new move / job. I have been given my choice of one of my friend's extra sewing machines. I don't know much about either so please help me decide. http://i.imgur.com/amVOw2R.jpg http://i.imgur.com/mhNnITp....

EZ Towel... anyone else?

Okay, I just got a bag of these "EZ Towels" from a relative for Christmas. I have never seen or heard anyone talk about the so I had to post about these. Maybe this is old news and I missed it, but these things are great! If anyone not familiar, its a small coin-sized, breath-mint-shaped tablet that...

Inflatable Solar Lanterns???

Sarge thanks for your work on this! I may be buying a couple of these on Amazon for the time being, paying $12 a pop, because I want them before I do big bend in a few weeks. But these are light and small and rechargeable enough that I will certainly buy 3 more when they have them back in stock. 3 f...

Re: Costco Down Throw

So I found some warmer sleeping bags 50% off today, and had a coupon to use on top of it, so my request for the down throws has been deprioritized.
I still want them. But no one go out of your way on my account.
Just next time anyone gets there hands on some, give me a shout. :) no rush.

Inflatable Solar Lanterns???

At the fall hang I was shown how effective those cheap little inflatable solar lanterns are.

I have been searching on Amazon and was wondering if anyone has reviews or opinions on which ones to go with. There are many different ones at similar prices. Any reasons why I should pick one over another?

If these are still around I'd love to buy like 3-4 of them from someone who has access. If you are in Texas I can arrange pickup and payment. :D

My contribution to "Thought of the Day"

Here is a simple verse that I have been fascinated with. This post may also give you insight into how I conduct my bible study... "For we are His workmanship , created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10 The word for "workmanship" here, in it...
