Please provide a link. Kickstarter is taking me directly to your folding stand kit. What is the price?

Re: Pro Hiking Tip

Did the cats spray INside out OUTside of the boots? The latter you may be able to wash off. Inside may be trickier and call for an enzyme-type cleaner. You should be able to find some in the pet aisle. Good luck

Re: Learning the hard way....

My first thought was, "Does getting married count?" Of course, I CAN'T post that... Next is having kids... Can't go there, either. Um, gear-wise, probably buying cool things in haste. Biggest fail that I can think of was trying to pop corn in an aluminum foil Gerry-rigged bag over an alcohol stove. ...

Re: VIDEO: Another emergency Recipe

Not just the beef, but where is the flavor? Yeah, there is soy sauce and cilantro, but... Some instant beans would add protein. if you wanted to go sort of Thai flavored, maybe add peanut butter and catsup to this one. A catsup packet is easy to come by and would add some sugar and taste, even thoug...

Re: The Costco - Packable Down Throw

If my sister's visit to Mom starts before I have to leave, she will go with me to the local Costco near Dayton, OH. If we find the down throws, I will post such.

Re: Keep your eyes on the trail!!

GAK! I had trouble seeing the snake, even knowing it was there. Maybe I don't want to move out of the cold, frozen north. We have fewer rattlesnakes and probably none of the other poisonous ones. Some mis-guided do-gooders actually are breeding Eastern timber rattlesnakes to release in the Berkshire...

Re: VIDEO: Frito Chili Pie

I just "pulled the trigger" on some Spam Bites through Walmart.com. To get free shipping, I ordered several of each flavor, plus a can of cooked beef for an experiment, some Lil Chubs from Jack Link which are small individually wrapped smoked sausages, and a couple of Hormel Compleats egg and potato...

Re: I'm here!

Hello, Krshome! If you have participated "in the other site," you likely have seen notices of such events as MAHHAs. I find them a bit too big and formalized for my preferences. They also are too far from my home for just a weekend unless I am able to combine trips. Some friends who attend or whom I...

Re: VIDEO: Frito Chili Pie

YOUR local Walmart may carry these, but none within 50 miles of either my mother's zip code nor mine shows Spam Bites available. May check the zips of some friends on my way home...

Re: VIDEO: Frito Chili Pie

LOVED the video, as usual. Of course, up in Yankee Land, chili is usually loaded with beans, unless it is labeled as no-bean chili. After I get home from Mom's remind me to send you some of my Yankee Land dehydrated home-made chili. I wanted to send you something as a cheap-o Chinese over boot thank...

Re: Burned Lips and IMUSA Pots

I get you on this. I'm not much of a beer drinker and despise Vienna sausages, but have bought both to repurpose the cans for pots. The plate or lid you mention doesn't "know" it was meant for a pet and once washed, may have been used only by you.
